About Organisation:

Rural Organization for Social Empowerment (ROSE)

ROSE is working for upliftment of underprivileged sections of the society through awareness generation, educating the communities, enhancing the capacities through capacity building programmes, rehabilitation and developmental activities, leading to a holistic empowerment of the community. It is dedicated to improve living conditions and opportunities of the poor, irrespective of their caste, creed and gender.

Centre for World Solidarity (CWS), Hyderabad

Implementing project in Nizamabad district towardsIncreasing Women’s Capacity to prevent and respond to gender based violence

Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal areas (MEPMA), Govt. of. A.P:

Implementing skill development programs for young women to promote self-reliant and economic empowerment among women in urban slums

Department of Juvenile Correctional Services & Welfare of street children, Hyderabad:

Implementing Night Shelter in Ramakrishnapuram, Circle-17, Malkajgiri Municipality for the shelter less people who are residing on the streets especially during the nights. They are also proving with proper facilities such as food, shelter, electricity and water and medication facilities if needed. In addition, they have been provided with counseling and efforts are putting in mainstreaming them with the families.

Department of Juvenile Correctional Services & Welfare of street children, Hyderabad:

Implementing Temporary Observation Home for boys to provide them proper counselling to bring behavioral change among the children and live better and dignified life. The boys are also provided with nutritious diet, medication, non-formal education, create awareness on Child Rights, involve them more in physical activities, etc.

Objectives:
  • To create awareness among the people from backward villages, urban slums and weaker sections of people through integrated Socio-Economic activities such as Health, Children’s Education, Child Protection and Safety, Rescue & Rehabilitation for Children and Adults, Adult Education, Rights and Entitlements,
  • Skill building of Youth and women, Women and Child Welfare Activities and improve the living conditions of vulnerable communities
  • To promote gender equity and address issues of gender based violence through capacitating women and sensitizing men in the communities
  • To empower women and girls through social mobilization process and organizing them into CBOs thereby enhancing their capacities, income levels and livelihoods.
  • To ensure comprehensive health and nutritional services by setting up community health facilities, mobile medical care, care and support centers for children living with HIV/AIDS.
  • To prevent HIV/AIDS among the vulnerable high risk groups.
  • To establish rehabilitation centers for Children in need and also adult who are in miserable situations and provide institutional care and support through counselling, medication, education and other rehabilitation facilities and to establish homes for Orphans, semi-Orphans, neglected Children, aged and other needy people.
