ROSE specially emphasizes on Medical and Health aspects of those particularly preventive and curative health related programs with a special focus on children, Adolescent girls, and Women with more specifically emphasis on strengthen and expand HIV/AIDS, TB, awareness and Advocacy services etc.

ROSE support and empower adolescents in all their diversity regardless of their race, class and gender. The LGBT community people and PLHIVs face discrimination in almost all aspects of their lives. They are denied access to employment, education, and health care. They are targeted because of their gender expression or perceived sexual orientation.

Stigma and discrimination can impact on the rights of LGBT& PLHIVs. In addition to their fundamental right to live free from violence and discrimination, bullying can lead to an increased likelihood of avoiding academics and impact on their self-esteem. This can have lasting consequences on their social and psychological health and also have adverse effects on society as a whole.

LGBT young adolescents and youth are at higher risk of threats and verbal, physical and sexual abuse.  Yet, they are unable to secure support from those whose duty it is to protect the community. There are often extra challenges in accessing proper sexual health services due to discrimination or lack of expertise among service providers

Every young person regardless of their gender deserves equal access to opportunities and services. In this aspect, ROSE organization has started working with LGBT (MSM) and FSW community through targeted Intervention program. In this intervention, the team identified 30 hotspots and 24 Peer educators to work in their respective hotspots. HRG’s met in Outreach by the PEs through 1-1 and 1-Group Communication Sessions. HRG’s are mobilized towards the specific services which they require, and 100% community is covered in outreach.
